The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region and Vice President of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, announced the success of this year’s Hajj season 1447, confirming that the season witnessed a comprehensive system of security, organization, and services, which enabled the guests of Allah to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.

On behalf of the Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Emir of the Makkah Region, and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, and on behalf of the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, he extended the highest expressions of congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, on the occasion of the successful Hajj season.

The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region confirmed that the exceptional success achieved was due to the grace of Allah Almighty, followed by the unlimited support and wise guidance from the prudent leadership, and the resources and capabilities it provided, along with the meticulous follow-up of all stages of work, preparation, and implementation.

He stated that the Hajj season reflected the image of a nation that works sincerely and diligently to serve the guests of Allah, pointing out that the holy sites appeared in a manner characterized by organization and harmony, in a scene that embodied the integration of efforts among the various participating entities. He emphasized that this year’s Hajj demonstrated the Kingdom’s ability to manage crowds efficiently and competently, indicating that the pilgrims performed their rituals in an atmosphere of security, reassurance, and care that befits the sanctity of the place and the holiness of the time.

He noted that the successes achieved in Hajj represent the fruit of a leadership approach that has made serving the pilgrim an honor and a priority, as support was present, and work continued with a spirit of responsibility and dedication. He pointed out that the success of Hajj is not the end of the work, but the beginning of new responsibilities and a renewed covenant every year to maintain the Kingdom’s status as a beacon of security and giving, and a destination for serving Islam and Muslims.
